LUCKNOW: As the election pitch rises in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party is all set to add more star power to its campaign with former Kannauj MP Dimple Yadav and party’s Rajya Sabha member Jaya Bachchan addressing public meetings on Friday and Saturday to seek votes for women candidates of the party.
Next week, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee is slated to reach Varanasi to campaign for Samajwadi Party and also spend a day visiting KashIi Vishwanath Dham and other places of religious significance in the temple town. Dimple will also accompany Mamata during her Varanasi visit.
