A heated debate unfolded on social media after US Senate candidate Sam Parker called for the "deportation" of actress and singer Selena Gomez following her tearful video expressing empathy for undocumented immigrants being deported from America.
Gomez, on Tuesday morning, shared an emotional clip on Instagram in which she broke down while addressing the deportation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). "I just wanted to say that I’m so sorry," Gomez began in a tearfully video on her Instagram stories. "All my people are getting attacked, the children. I don’t understand. I wish I could do something, but I can’t. I’ll try everything, I promise," she said.
