A warning has been issued over the use of a dangerous 'barbie drug' nasal spray that can give you a "deep tan" but could also give you skin cancer.
The nasal spray that contains melanotan is banned in Ireland but has become popular on TikTok recently as influencers are promoting its use for tanning purposes.
Speaking on Newstalk Breakfast on Tuesday morning, a dermatologist warned that the drug can give you a "deep tan" but has side effects that can kill you including kidney failure, blood pressure issues, and even skin cancer.
