Urgent warning issued over swimsuit for baby girls amid fears of strangulation

Competition and Consumer Protection Commission CCPC

An urgent strangulation warning has been issued for a girl's swimsuit as parents are told to "discontinue use".

The floral two-piece bathing suit appeared on the VOVA Platform as the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission in Ireland issued the notice.

The CCPC says on its website that "a safety issue has been identified with a baby girl’s swimming costume sold on the VOVA Platform".
