Urgent search for Paisley teenager missing for seven days

An urgent search has been launched to trace a 17-year-old who has been missing for a week.

Madison Wallace was last seen seven days ago on Thursday, May 19 on Greenock Road, Paisley.

Police Scotland is now appealing for anyone with any information about his whereabouts to contact them in order to help with their search.

He is known to frequent areas in East Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway, and Nairn.

A statement from police reads: "Police are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing missing Person Madison Wallace, age 17.

"Madison was last seen about 1730 hours on Thursday 19th May 2022 on Greenock Road, Paisley. He is described as white British, 5 foot 10 inches tall, medium build, short brown curly hair and wearing glasses. Madison is known to frequent East Ayrshire, Dumfries & Galloway, Nairn.

"Anyone who may have seen Madison or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0256 of 26th."

UPDATE: Madison Wallace has been traced safe and well.
