Urban search and rescue crews are currently conducting door-to-door assessments in the coastal Florida communities of Suwannee and Horseshoe Beach to evaluate the impact of Tropical Storm Debby, which initially made landfall nearby as a hurricane. The National Guard and Florida Urban Search and Rescue teams from Task Force 1 and 2 are actively involved in these efforts, as announced by Dixie County Fire Rescue on their official Facebook page.

Debby, which has now weakened to a tropical storm, landed near Steinhatchee, Florida, approximately 35 miles away from Horseshoe Beach.
