U.P. urban local body polls: CM Adityanath, Mayawati among early voters

Mayawati Yogi Adityanath Lucknow Uttar Pradesh

Nearly 10% of voters turned up to exercise their franchise in the first two hours of polling for the first phase of the urban local body elections in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, May 4, 2023.

The voting, which commenced at 7 a.m., will continue till 6 p.m., officials said.

Prominent among those who cast their vote are Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Gorakhpur, BSP chief Mayawati and Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak in Lucknow.
