The Arizona Cardinals have been busy in the trade market this year under new general manager Monti Ossenfort.
They made multiple trades during the draft. They made three trades on Thursday, sending safety Isaiah Simmons to the New York Giants, tackle Josh Jones to the Houston Texans and acquiring quarterback Josh Dobbs from the Cleveland Browns.
With the moves, let’s look at what picks they are scheduled to have in the 2024 draft.
Arizona Cardinals’ 2024 draft picks
- Round 1 (own pick)
- Round 1 (from Houston Texans)
- Round 2 (own pick)
- Round 3 (own pick)
- Round 3 (from Houston Texans)
- Round 3 (from Tennessee Titans)
- Round 4 (own)
- Round 5 (own)
- Round 5 (from Houston Texans)
- Round 7 (from New York Giants)
- Round 7 (from the Cleveland Browns)
The sixth-round selection they would have had belongs to the Carolina Panthers from their trade for receiver Robbie “Chosen” Anderson.
They traded a fifth-rounder to the Browns for Dobbs and acquired a seventh-rounder.
Their original seventh-round pick was sent to the Texans as part of the Josh Jones trade. It was the fifth-round selection they acquired in a draft-day trade with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Additionally, the Cardinals are projected to get a fourth-round compensatory pick, which would increase their total number of selections to 12 next year.
