Unremorseful man who sexually abused two girls claims he provided 'spiritual teachings'

A man who sexually abused two children about 10 years apart has shown no remorse and continues to claim he was providing "spiritual teachings".

The 74-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was sentenced in the ACT Supreme Court on Tuesday, October 6.

Chief Justice Lucy McCallum handed the man a total sentence of seven years imprisonment. He will be eligible for parole in May 2031.
