Tehran, Iran – Unprecedented levels of inflation across the Iranian economy have put a strain on the country’s housing sector, leaving tenants most vulnerable to price hikes that show no sign of abating.
The Statistical Centre of Iran (SCI), the country’s main statistics agency, last month reported an alarming record monthly inflation jump of 12.2 percent for the Iranian calendar month ending June 21.
