An unashamed married man who has had five affairs over the past seven years has no regrets, and says his cheating has been key to maintaining his "happy" marriage.
According to this 36-year-old dad, he still has an active sex life with his wife, but found their lovemaking to be too "vanilla" for his taste.
The anonymous man, who goes by the name Nate, says he has previously tried to talk about sex with his wife and find out what she enjoys, in the hope of adding a little "spice" to the bedroom, but was met by "stony silence".
Although he initially felt guilty about his infidelity, Nate now views it as the secret to his successful relationship, and claims it allows him to "let off a bit of stream".
Nate told the Mail Online: "I only see one woman at a time - juggling multiple women is way too stressful. We meet up for some passionate sex during the day while we're both at work at our flexible jobs and can take time off or in the evening, when we both have a decent excuse to get out. Overnights can be tricky for both of us."
The married father meets the women he sees using controversial dating platform Ashley Madison, and will chat with them using web-based chat or video chat apps, either during work hours or late in the evening.
He makes sure not to keep any apps, messages, explicit pics or vids on his phone, wiping away anything suspicious before he arrives home. He also uses a separate bank account to pay for expenses such as dates, sexy lingerie, and hotels.
Nate, who had only been in monogamous relationships before his marriage says his first affair was with a "gorgeous" senior director at his place of work, who was at least ten years older than him.
Although he initially felt guilty after their drunken encounter, Nate has since seen the benefits of opening up his marriage, and says it would take an active conversation between him and his wife to bring an end to his affairs.
Nate explained: "It would take my wife being more inspired and curious about sex, exploring it, buying lingerie and clothes that make her feel not just good but super sexy, and exploring toys that enhance her pleasure.
"I want her to research what she might enjoy, what I might enjoy, and be turned on by different forms of erotica. I want her to talk to me about her desires, what she'd love to explore, and what she feels is so taboo that she's nervous to confess it - that would be hot.
"If that leads to non-monogamy, her being a hot wife, swinging etc. great... but if not, just the shift in attitude and sexual awakening would be amazing."
He claims he's made sure to be careful about getting too emotionally attached when it comes to his affairs, drawing a line whenever he feels he might be getting in "too deep" with someone else.
According to Nate: "As long as you both know that it's just fun and it's not even close to the love and bond you have with each other as life partners.
"To be honest, I'd find it a huge turn-on to know my wife was having fun with another guy, girl, or couple and hearing about it afterward.
'"Or watching, joining in, and ensuring she's having the best time and receiving mind-blowing pleasure. But I don't get that home - so I get it elsewhere, and it's amazing!"
