Ulster v Munster kick-off time, TV channel information, team news and more

Ulster welcome Munster to the Kingspan stadium in the URC on Friday night fresh from the heartache of their late defeat to Toulouse in the Heineken Champions Cup.

Ulster led for much of last weekends tie, before a 74th minute try from Antoine Dupont knocked Ulster out of the competition.

Munster will be brimming with confidence after their 26-10 victory over Exeter Chiefs last weekend. Joey Carbery starred last time out, scoring 21 of the 26 points scored by Munster.

Munster have only one fresh injury from Saturday's game, with Jack O'Sullivan set to miss a few weeks of action. Gavin Coombes (ankle), Dave Kilcoyne (neck), Tadhg Beirne (thigh), Andrew Conway (knee), James French (knee), RG Snyman (knee) are all still side-lined.

Here's everything you need to know:

Venue

Kingspan stadium, Belfast

Time and Date

7:35pm on Friday, April 22nd

TV Information

The game will be shown live on RTE 2, with coverage beginning at 7pm

Quotes Corner

Dan McFarland: "“The game was there for us to win. We probably should have won by 13 points in (the first leg in) Toulouse and we were in this game, competing with them.

“Ultimately we did a couple of critical things wrong and if you want to win at this level, you can’t afford to make those mistakes. On the day we didn’t quite get it right.”

Betting odds

Ulster: 4/11

Munster: 2/1

Draw: 28/1
