A huge Ukrainian family-of-nine have been turfed out of their UK home, and now face a race against time to find somewhere else. After just weeks at their new residency, a letter from their host was delivered informing them that they had to move elsewhere.
The Hyryk family have been left devastated after dad Maksym and mother Olga, along with their five children and both their mothers, were given the ultimatum on May 11, after securing a home in Hampshire through the Government's Homes for Ukraine scheme.
Following Russia's invasion of their country, Ukrainians were allowed to relocate to the UK if they found a suitable host family who registered for the scheme. Now, shortly after settling in, they received the devastating news that they will have to pack their things once more.
