Parts of the UK are set to be drenched in almost a month's worth of rain in the next 12 hours. The Met Office has issued weather warnings for Sunday and Monday with thunderstorms and rain expected.
At Kew Gardens in London today (Sunday, June 11) temperatures reached 32C, which was hotter than Monaco and parts of the French Riviera. But it still wasn't as hot as Saturday when temperatures reached 32.2.C
But the heat has helped to bring in storms with some places already suffering from heavy rainfall. In Charlwood, in Surrey, a total of 28.6mm of rain fell - almost half the average for the whole month of June.
