UK experiences its sunniest spring on record, Met Office confirms - with London set to bask in weekend 'mini-heatwave'

The UK has already recorded its sunniest spring on record, according to provisional Met Office figures.

Some 630 hours of sunshine were recorded from March 1 to May 27, beating its previous sunniest spring in 2020 by four hours.
