UFC Fight Night 222 has a main card that begins at 7 p.m. ET and prelims starting at 4 p.m. ET. The entire event streams on ESPN+.
Main event
The UFC Fight Night 222 features a pair of top-five big men, each of whom could very well secure a title shot with a victory. In the case of Pavlovich, he already served as the backup fight for March’s UFC 285 vacant title fight between Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane, which was won by Jones, so a title shot seemingly is all but guaranteed if he’s victorious. Blaydes, who is on a three-fight winning streak, has been near the top of the heavyweight division for the past five years but hasn’t quite gotten over the hump to secure a shot at gold. An impressive win to end Pavlovich’s five-fight winning streak just might do the trick.
