UEFA chief Aleksander Ceferin says huge Champions League change is 'possible' from 2026

UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin has admitted there is potential for Champions League games to be staged in the United States from 2026 onwards.

This year's showpiece fixture will be staged in the Turkish city of Istanbul, the home of Liverpool's famous 2005 win versus AC Milan, before being held in London in 2024 and Munich in 2025.

Locations from 2026 and beyond are yet to be decided, though Ceferin has refused to rule out the idea of bringing the Champions League to America amid their co-hosting of the next World Cup and rising popularity in the sport within the country.
