Former world heavyweight title contender Jarrell Miller has called for a shot at Tyson Fury's belt as the Brit's search for a September opponent has hit a standstill.
Miller was just days away from fighting Anthony Joshua at Madison Square Garden in June of 2019, but tested positive for a series of banned substances and was excommunicated from boxing for three years. While he was beginning his path to a comeback, Fury brought him into camp for his mandatory defence against Dillian Whyte, much to the surprise of fans and experts.
And it now appears that Miller wants to go a step further and get back at the top level of the division, offering to fill an increasingly difficult position for Fury's next fight. The Brit wants to get out in September, with promoter Frank Warren adamant that he will compete once before a potential bout with Oleksandr Usyk for undisputed at year's end.
