Tyson Fury offers Anthony Joshua mega-fight for heavyweight titles

Tyson Fury has officially called out Anthony Joshua for a heavyweight blockbuster fight in the UK.

The Gypsy King has made his intentions clear to remain in boxing after declaring he will retire following his win over Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium.

After being told that an Oleksandr Usyk will not fight until 2023, Fury is looking to remain active, and teased that he would look to find an opponent for a bout this year - and that opponent could well be his long-term rival in Joshua.

Joshua is coming off the back of his second consecutive loss to Usyk, but would push himself back to the top of the heavyweight with a win over the undefeated Gypsy King.

On Monday, Fury officially called out Joshua. Posting on his social media pages, Fury said: "I think you've all heard I'm going to be fighting soon, in the next few months. "I think before I announce an opponent, I need to do this just in case.

"Anthony Joshua, I know you've just lost a fight to Usyk and you're bout-less at the moment. I'd like to give you an opportunity to fight me for the WBC heavyweight championship of the world and the lineal championship in the next few months.

"You're coming off a 12-round fight so you're match fit, you're ready. I'm giving you a few months' notice. If you're interested, I'll send you a date over and we can rumble. A battle of Britain for the WBC championship of the world; if you're not interested, let me know and I'll select another opponent."
