Tyreek Hill’s Biggest Concern About Hand Injury Is Missing ‘Fortnite’

Tyreek Hill is preparing to play in the Dolphins’ Week 12 game against the Jets on Friday, despite a brief exit for an injury to his right hand during the second quarter of the team’s 20–13 win over the Raiders on Sunday.

On fourth-and-1 from the Las Vegas three-yard line, Tua Tagovailoa tossed a pass to Hill on a screen, but he was stopped short of the first down by a host of Raiders defenders. After the play, Hill immediately went to the locker room for trainers to look at his hand.

Hill, who was initially questionable to return in the contest, returned to the sideline shortly after the Dolphins scored their second touchdown late in the second quarter. While all indications point to Hill playing in Friday’s AFC East clash, the All-Pro wide receiver was more concerned about playing his favorite video game than his injury status for the upcoming matchup.

“I think I’ll be fine,” Hill said when asked if his hand would hinder him from playing in Miami’s next game. “The only thing I’m really bummed about I won’t be able to play Fortnite.”

Instead, Hill plans to rest his hand and spend some quality time with his wife. On Sunday, he finished with 10 catches for 146 yards and one touchdown. Hill’s performance against Las Vegas allowed him to reach the most receiving yards (1,222) by an NFL player in his first 10 games.

Currently, the seven-time Pro Bowler leads the league in both receiving yards and receiving touchdowns (nine) this season.
