Two new Girl Scout cookies will debut in months but there’s a catch

  • Girl Scouts of the USA announced it will launch its first-ever line of dog treats, named Patch Pals, starting in January.
  • Developed alongside New York-based seller Bark, the blueberry muffin-flavored Patch Pals dog cookies will be sold exclusively online.
  • The organization is also debuting Sparkables, its first allergy-friendly cookie made with oatmeal, chocolate chips, and colored sprinkles.
  • Sparkables were created with New Jersey-based Partake Foods and are produced in a facility free from nine major allergens, including peanuts, dairy, and wheat.
  • Inspired by scouts advocating for greater inclusion, both new items will be sold online during the annual cookie season alongside classic flavors like Thin Mints.
