Two men have been arrested on suspicion of abducting children after two teenage girls were found in a car in the back of a car. Police received reports that one of the girls was missing on Sunday evening and was believed to be in the West Yorkshire area.
Unmarked police cars stopped a car on Shannon Road in Hull yesterday evening where the missing girl, and another girl, were found sitting in the back of the vehicle. The police investigation led officers back to the area and two men, aged 18 and 19, were arrested.
Both men remain in police custody as residents told of their shock at the 'awful' incident. One woman witnessed the arrest being made and said it was a relief to see one of the girls reunite with her father, reports Hull Live.
