Two crashes happen within minutes of each other on city roads

Two crashes happened within minutes of each other across two city roads today.

Police and paramedics were called to incidents on both Great Homer Street and Muirhead Avenue East, at 8.25am on Thursday, June 29. A spokesperson for Merseyside police said that there was a two car crash on Great Homer Street, involving a Mitsubishi and a Vauxhall Corsa.

There were no reports of any serious injuries. However officers confirmed that the incident caused heavy traffic delays in the area.

Police attended to help with traffic management and speak to those involved. The crash on Muirhead Avenue East and Marldon Road, involved an MG and a van.

North West Ambulance service were at the scene, however there is no reports of the condition of those involved at this time.
