The Falcons selected Penn State linebacker Arnold Ebiketie with their first selection on day two after moving up five spots. Atlanta sent picks 43 and 114 to the Giants for pick No. 38 overall.
With multiple quarterbacks and offensive linemen still on the board, the Falcons instead chose to address arguably their second-biggest need. Many thought they would select Malik Willis or Desmond Ridder here, but it’s hard to argue with adding a pass rusher.
