Little Simz: My Glastonbury

Glastonbury 2024 headliners Dua Lipa and Coldplay have already been profiled in this pre-festival hype strand. Now the spotlight falls on Little Simz, the 2022 Mercury prizewinner poised to make her Pyramid stage debut on Saturday night. It has been a fascinating journey for the rapper and Top Boy star, who first played Glasto in 2016. Hilary Swank’s Eileen continues to shake up the small town with her big-city journalism. Strutting in late, she misses a briefing on the Alaska State Fair, complete with pig-racing, cream puffs and Hootie and the Blowfish headlining. But she is suddenly interested when rookie reporter Gabriel’s giant vegetable feature leads him to a more sinister story. Hannah Verdier

As a new season of the California fire-fighting procedural kicks off, it’s not good news for Bode, whose future hinged on his parole hearing at the end of the last instalment. Despite seeking redemption through saving lives, he’s back behind bars while the rest of the team spring into action after a massive earthquake. HV

9.30pm, BBC One
If an hour and a quarter of Starmer and Sunak debating isn’t enough electoral politics for you, the night’s showpiece is followed by a further 30 minutes of analysis and reaction. Laura Kuenssberg and Clive Myrie ask pundits and politicians for their verdicts. Jack Seale
