Today, both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are holding campaign events in Wisconsin, a key battleground state in the upcoming election. Trump is set to host a rally at Fiserv Forum, a venue where he previously spoke during the Republican National Convention. Similarly, Harris will also hold a rally at the same arena, where she spoke during the Democratic National Convention.

During her visit to Wisconsin, Vice President Harris is scheduled to hold three events across the state, culminating in a rally in the Milwaukee area. The rally will feature performances by several musicians, including Cardi B, as the Democratic nominee leverages celebrity support to drive voter turnout in the final days of the campaign.

Wisconsin is one of seven battleground states that are considered competitive for either candidate to win. Alongside Pennsylvania and Michigan, Wisconsin is part of the 'Blue Wall states,' historically Democratic-leaning states that have seen shifts in recent years due to changes in demographics and political dynamics.

In the 2016 election, Trump secured victories in all three Blue Wall states, helping him clinch the presidency. Conversely, President Joe Biden's success in the 2020 election was also marked by wins in these crucial states. Should Harris win all three states this year, she would likely secure the necessary electoral votes to become president. However, current polling data indicates tight races in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, underscoring the importance of voter turnout.

For Harris, key demographics to target include suburban women and Black voters, crucial constituencies in urban centers across all three states. As the campaign intensifies in these battleground states, both candidates are ramping up their efforts to secure support and sway undecided voters in the lead-up to Election Day.
