Troy Kotsur has been announced as a new addition to Season 3 of Apple TV+'s 'Foundation.' This marks a return to Apple for Kotsur, known for his role in the award-winning film 'CODA.' In 'Foundation,' Kotsur will portray Preem Palver, the leader of a planet of psychics, alongside series regulars Lee Pace and Jared Harris.

Kotsur's accolades include winning the Academy Award for best supporting actor for his performance in 'CODA,' a film that also secured the best picture and best adapted screenplay Oscars. Notably, Kotsur became only the second deaf actor to win an Academy Award, following in the footsteps of his 'CODA' co-star Marlee Matlin.
