The Arizona Cardinals announced that their 2024 team nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award is tight end Trey McBride. He was one of 32 players selected, one per team.
The award honors great play on the field combined with outstanding community service off the field. Each team honoree receives a donation up to a $55,000 to the charity of his choice and will wear a Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year helmet decal through the end of the season.

All 32 team winners will be highlighted as finalists and recognized for their important work during the week leading up to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. The 2024 “Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year” will be announced during NFL Honors, an awards special to air on FOX on Thursday, February 6. The winner will receive up to a $265,000 donation to the charity of his choice.
