Trespass wetsuit with 'high risk of drowning' and faulty Aldi hammock urgently recalled

A wetsuit that poses a 'high risk of drowning' is being urgently recalled along with a faulty hammock from Aldi. The two items are among the latest alerts to be issued by the Office for Product Safety and Standards.

The Aldi product is the Adventuridge Portable Hammock with Stand, sold in green or blue. The risk description says: "The product presents a risk of injuries as one seam at the head end of the fabric has been reported to fail after limited uses."

Meanwhile the Trespass "DIVER" Men's Full Body Wetsuit is subject to a temporary ban. The recall notice says: "The product presents a high risk of drowning as it does not provide adequate thermal protection for diving in cold water. If used for this purpose, the user could experience cold incapacitation leading to loss of coordination and lack of manual dexterity which could result in drowning."
