Transport Corporation of India will buy back shares worth up to Rs 150 crore through the tender offer route, and has fixed October 9, 2026 as the record date for determining eligible shareholders. Under the buyback plan, TCI will purchase up to 15.63 lakh fully paid-up equity shares with a face value of Rs 2 each at Rs 960 per share.
The total buyback amount will not exceed Rs 150 crore, excluding taxes, brokerage, filing fees and other transaction-related expenses, according to the company’s exchange filing.
