Train strikes: Angry passengers says rail unions have ‘lost the plot’ as Aslef walkout cripples network

Angry passengers claimed on Thursday that rail unions had “lost the plot” with “selfish” walkouts that brought much of the network to a standstill.

Victoria, normally one of the busiest stations in the county, was closed, with no Southern or Gatwick Express trains running. One frustrated passenger shouted “shame on you” at pickets outside the mainline station.
