Tragic deaths of schoolboy and pensioner spark crackdown on busy road

A speeding crackdown has been launched on a major Scots road after two people died - including a 13-year-old schoolboy.

Mobile speed camera vans will be deployed on Balmore Road in the North of Glasgow after two pedestrians were tragically killed after being hit by vehicles this year.

David Gow, 79, was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash involving an off-road motorcycle on February 12.
