She will be the first ever X Factor winner to perform at the festival, after coming out top on The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019.
The singer shared the exciting news with her fans in an Instagram post.
She wrote: "This is possibly THE biggest moment of my life yet. I am playing GLASTONBURY!
"I'm literally crying with happiness I have worked so hard to finally get here. Baby Megan would be so proud! SEE YOU ALL THERE SUNDAY 26th JUNE!"
Her famous friends were quick to offer Megan congratulations.

Fellow TOWIE star Ferne McCann commented: "OH MY GOD !"
This was followed by a second message which read: "This is insane so proud of you."
Gemma Collins shared a bunch of praise emojis and said: "wow well done."
Love Island star Laura Anderson also said: "Unreal meg."
Megan also shared a video and said: "I can't even tell you how excited I am. I mean, Glastonbury is the biggest festival in the UK and I feel like I've worked so hard.
"I feel like I am honestly like, living my dreams."
Megan left ITV reality show The Only Way Is Essex in 2017 to turn her talents to singing and song writing.
The 29-year-old hopes to become a successful country star.
She won The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019, one year after releasing her debut studio album Story of Me.
Simon Cowell's record label Syco offered her a record deal following her victory. She later joined Michael Ball and Alfie Boe on their tour.
The famous festival kicks off on Wednesday, June 22 until Sunday, June 26.
Glastonbury headliners include Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar and Diana Ross.
James Arthur, who won X Factor in 2012, previously accused the festival of snobbery after he failed to make the line-up in 2019.
Speaking on This Morning, he said: "I would love to be considered I guess credible enough to perform at these things. I think I was made to perform at Glastonbury and these big festivals. I am a musician."
Megan will now become the first X Factor winner to perform at Glastonbury.
She has recently opened up about the struggles of transitioning from reality TV to a music career, revealing that she changed her image to be taken more serious by the music industry.
One of her changes includes having her lip filler dissolved.
In an interview with Closer, she said: "I feel happier, more natural.
"It got to the point where my lips were the only thing people talked about when I was on TV. I wanted to be known for my voice not my trout pout."
