Micky van de Ven returns to the bench for Tottenham in their FA Cup clash with Burnley today.
The Dutch centre-back has come through three days of training with the first team and was expected to be in the matchday squad this evening.
Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou said on Thursday that he had not yet decided on the scale of the 22-year-old's involvement in the third-round tie after two months on the sidelines with a hamstring strain suffered in the defeat by Chelsea on November 6.
Postecoglou heavily rotated his squad for the Carabao Cup defeat by Fulham back in August, although he had few options for wholesale changes against the Clarets given Spurs' ongoing injury problems and the absence of Heung-min Son, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr at international tournaments.
