Harry Kane was handed all three clubs awards at Tottenham after they'd been beaten in their final home game of the season.
The forward scooped the Official Supporters’ Clubs’ Player of the Season, One Hotspur Player of the Season and One Hotspur Juniors' Player of the Season following his efforts this term, which has seen the forward smash the 30-goal mark once more despite struggles for his team.
Kane was recognised despite Tottenham suffering defeat, their fifth in seven games, which sums up how they've finished the campaign. The England man has seen another season come and go in which he remains without a trophy amid mounting speculation that he will finally leave north London.
Tottenham's state-of-the-art stadium was half empty when Kane was handed his awards as the club appeared to turn on their charm offensive as they hope to get their captain to stay. Daniel Levy has previously fended off attempts from other clubs to sign the striker.
Two summers ago Manchester City were keen on the marksman and made moves to sign him, only to fail as Tottenham stood their ground. Now though Kane only has 12 months left on his deal and Manchester United are circling as they look to add more firepower.
Kane has now seen a mural erected on a building just outside the stadium whilst Levy has also suggested recently that the forward could one day have a statue outside the ground.
He told The Cambridge Union in March: "[Kane] can absolutely win a trophy at Spurs." Levy also added: "But being a legend is also important. The fact that he's top scorer of Tottenham Hotspur - he's making history. I hope one day that there is a statue of Harry Kane outside our stadium."
Former Tottenham man Peter Crouch admitted, given the manner in which Kane and co have ended the season is difficult. He said on BT Sport: "I believe it does, and the whole season has an impact doesn’t it? Let’s be honest. He’s a talisman, got 28 goals. That is an unbelievable return from a team that has been struggling.
"If this is his last game, what a sad way to go out. He’s been an absolute legend at this club, he is a legend at this club and we look around at dejected faces and a half-empty stadium. Unfortunately that is what has become of Tottenham and it’s a sad state of affairs."
