Top 10 UK coastline destinations best viewed by boat - The Needles tops the list

A sea-faring mum has revealed her favourite UK coastline spots to view by boat – after spending the last five years exploring the length and breadth of Great Britain from the water.

Heather Kemp has travelled from Scotland to South Devon – and beyond – by boat with her family, documenting their adventures on her Instagram account, @kemp.life.

Her list of favourite sights to see from the water is topped by the majestic, 30m chalk stalks, The Needles, rising out of the sea on the Western tip of the Isle of Wight.
