Tommy Fury has vowed to fight Jake Paul's coach BJ Flores once he has settled his rivalry with the YouTube star this weekend.
Ex-Love Island star Fury will step in the ring to touch gloves with influencer Paul this weekend in Saudi Arabia after months of trading insults and heated jibes on social media. The pair are embroiled in a bitter rivalry which began in 2021 when Fury confronted Paul over a fight following his maiden win over Tyron Woodley, and now the pair are preparing to do battle in the Middle East.
Paul's coach Flores has trained the YouTube star throughout his six-fight unbeaten career so far and has become heavily involved in the pair's heated feud. However he suggested that Paul's boxing skills are far beyond the Briton and expects the fight over in three rounds.
"Jake punches harder, he's smarter, has a higher boxing IQ and I feel like he does a lot of things that will give Tommy a lot of problems," Flores told Sky Sports. "We're [stopping] this guy... inside three rounds."
Fury has since angrily responded to the claim and issued a fight call-out of his own to Flores. "My response to that is everybody has got a plan until they get punched in the mouth," he replied via Sky Sports. "That is just that, Jake Paul has never been hit in his entire career, and as for BJ Flores I will fight him on Sunday night after Jake Paul and break his jaw. How is that? BJ Flores isn't worth a wet wipe anyway. I'd beat BJ Flores now.
"He came over to the UK a few years ago and he got done over by Tony Bellew. I don't know who he is talking about, he wants to shut up doesn't he? But that team are team hype aren't they? The trainers are on the payroll, the cutman is on the payroll. They are going to say this sort of stuff, but when it comes to it for real they are going to have nothing to say.

"He is to going to get back to that corner after the first round if he makes it that far, and Flores will go 'it shouldn't have gone this way, that isn't the guy I have been watching'. But on Sunday night there is nowhere left for him to run, he is going to have to fight his way out of there and that just isn't possible against me."
There will be significant pressure on Fury this weekend as he looks to make a significant dent in the undefeated start to the influencer's boxing stint. Fury has yet to be beaten in his own time in the sport, and has confidently claimed there is no way that Paul can beat him as the pair prepare to settle the scores.
