NEW DELHI: India's derecognised sports federations won't be able to send teams abroad or display the country's flag or any national symbols at domestic and international meets, as per a government decision.
The decision comes four days after TOI exclusively reported about the alleged fraud committed by the derecognised School Games Federation of India (SGFI), where the school body used Indian government's emblem and Sports Authority of India's (SAI) logo to collect money from students for the 19th ISF World School Gymnasiade in France's Normandy from May 14 to 22.
