DCGI orders withdrawal of AstraZeneca's cancer drug due to potential adverse effects

The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has instructed all state drug regulators to withdraw AstraZeneca's anti-cancer drug Olaparib tablets. Primarily used to treat patients with gBRCA mutations in advanced ovarian and breast cancer, this drug has been found to have potential adverse effects, according to the DCGI.
