TODD CANTWELL is confident there is plenty more to come from him after an impressive start to his Rangers career.
The midfielder has helped Michael Beale's side record wins over St Johnstone, Hearts and Ross County following his move from Norwich City.
Cantwell has given supporters glimpses of what he is capable of after slotting into the Ibrox attack with relative ease so far.
The visit of Partick Thistle is next on the agenda and Cantwell said: “I’ve really enjoyed myself so far. I have been involved in three games and we’ve managed to win all three.
“It’s been a pretty good start. I’ve been able to put building blocks down in terms of my own fitness.
“Footballers play with footballers and we understand each other’s movements, if that makes sense. That’s only going to get better with time.
“The manager has got a style he wants to play and implement and the players around will understand their roles in that. It will only get better.
“As things progress I’ll start to make movements that the players want me to make, it’s not all about me.
“It’s about building that understanding and that’s what we’re doing at the moment.
“I’ll feed off the energy of the other boys too, where they want it and what their qualities are.
“In terms of a start, I think I’m pretty happy. I just want to build on these relationships and kick on.”
The move to Ibrox saw Cantwell bring an emotional end to his association with Norwich as he said farewell to the club where he made his name in the game.
He was joined by friends and family for the County clash last weekend and his new surroundings have already made quite the impression.
Cantwell said: “It’s a long way from Norwich so I don’t think they’ll be doing it every week. But my dad, brother and two best mates came up for the game last week and they loved it.
“It took them by surprise just how big the club is, how big the stadium is. The history isn’t something you can be told about, it’s something you have to feel. They didn’t want to leave to be fair.”
