A TikToker who has lost four stone on a calorie controlled diet has shared her favourite low-calorie ice creams and ice pops to enjoy in the heatwave. The cooling treats from Asda are nearly all under 100 calories.
As the country experiences record temperatures here are six low-calorie options for ice creams and ice lollies for those looking to keep slim whilst cooling down this summer. Weight loss TikToker Kayleigh Friend, who shares calorie-counting tips with her followers at @KayleighFriend_1, shared the delicious selection for others to enjoy whilst also shedding the pounds.
Having overcome a "binge eating disorder" and losing her target of four stone - from a starting weight of 14st 5lb - Kayleigh now helps others to lose weight by sticking to a calorie deficit with her tips and tricks. But the TikToker doesn’t avoid indulging in a sweet treat, as long as they are within her daily calorie allowance.

First up in Kayleigh’s Asda recommendations are Twister Mini ice cream lollies, which are just 38 calories each. A pack of eight cost £1.90. Next up is a great option for chocolate lovers, Cadbury’s Freddo ice cream sandwich, coming in at 98 calories each. For a pack of six it’s £2.25.
A classic Mars ice cream is a surprisingly low-calorie choice, with 136 calories each. A pack of four costs £2.00.
Kayleigh’s next choice is for the fruit lovers, a Solero Exotic ice lolly, totalling 98 calories each. A pack of three costs £1.90. Next up is the Swizzels Drumstick Squashies at just 83 calories each. A pack of four costs £2.
For another less-indulgent snack Kayleigh suggests the Milkybar Mini ice creams. Totalling 105 calories, and costing £3.25.
Kayleigh encourages those wanting to lose weight to “focus on yourself for yourself”. The TikToker shares her daily meals that help her stay in a calorie deficit, and says walking a minimum of 10,000 steps a day has helped her speed up her weight loss.
She told her followers: “[There’s] no secret, just eating less calories to be in a deficit and plenty of walking. I try to do 10k steps or more a day and drink plenty of water.”
