Having a takeaway brought to your door has long been the norm, but more recently Just Eat has expanded to offer deliveries from local shops and supermarkets, too.
Probably due in part to lockdowns, and convenience, more and more of us are ordering groceries from our laptops and phones. The service can come in handy for many, and now Just Eat has crunched the numbers to find out the most popular grocery items delivered to homes across Liverpool are.
It also found Liverpool has a huge number of takeaways and restaurants, with 72 per every 10,000 people. For comparison, Manchester has the most, with 120 per every 10,000 people.

In what may come as a surprise to some, Just Eat said the most-ordered grocery item in Liverpool is a chicken and mushroom Pot Noodle. In second place is a Dr Pepper, though it didn't specify if this was a can or bottle.
Next up is a pack of Richmond thick pork sausages. Other parts of the UK have favourites such as Schweppes lemonade, Asda spring onions, Warburton crumpets, and Mr Porky scratchings.
Just Eat said its most popular food orders were calculated by adding how many times each food order occurred in its data.
