Three people have been rushed to hospital after a two-vehicle smash in Moray this afternoon. Emergency crews raced to the A96 in Brodie around 3pm today.
Cops shut down the road in both directions as they probed the smash. Twwo men and a woman were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
Their condition is currently unknown. The A96 remained closed in both directions, several hours after the smash.
Cops say that diversions are in place tonight on the A939 and A940.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3pm on Monday, 11 July, 2022, officers attended a two vehicle road crash near Brodie Country Fayre, A96, Brodie, Forres.
"Three people, a man from one car, and a man and woman from the second car, have all been taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
"No details on injury or condition at this time. Eastbound traffic has been diverted at Nairn on the A939 and westbound diverted at Forres on the A940.”
