Having maintained top spot in the Premier League after winning 9 of their 10 opening games, Arsenal are on course to have a very strong season. Granted, it’s still early days and a lot can change, but the signs are encouraging so far.
Do they have what it takes to go all the way? Stranger things have happened before, but much of it will come down to consistency and squad depth. When you cast your minds back to January, the Gunners went into the window in a very different position. They were fighting to finish in the top four to secure their ultimate objective - Champions League football.
This January, however, could have a very different outlook to it, with the Champions League, Europa League and dare I say it, Premier League, all at stake. As a result, you could argue that the next winter window is even more important than the previous one and what business Arsenal conducts could have a significant say in what they end up achieving this season.
