Thousands of leaflets dropped over Beirut urge disarming Hezbollah

Locals living in Beirut witnessed thousands of leaflets being dropped over neighborhoods in the city on Friday which they claim were from Israel.

Some of the leaflets had a bar code and a note in Arabic that called on the Lebanese people to work on removing the weapons of "Hezbollah, Iran's shield in Lebanon."

"Lebanon is your choice, not the choice of others," read one of the leaflets dropped over several Beirut neighborhoods.

It also told Lebanese people not to leave their country an arena for "Iran's Hezbollah."

Another leaflet that looked like the front-page of a newspaper titled "the new reality" read that as a result of the "great success in Gaza," the new reality newspaper has reached Beirut.
