Phillip Schofield expressed concern for a This Morning caller as camera rolled on Tuesday, when they failed to speak as they answered the phone and then started coughing.
With Holly Willoughby still absent due to a nasty bout of shingles, Phillip was back alongside stand-in presenter Rochelle Humes for the second day in succession as they discussed the day's big new stories and were joined by super star guest Bjorn Ulvaeus from ABBA.
As well as celebrity interviews and a cooking demonstration inspired by King Charles III's impending Coronation, the two presenters were joined by This Morning regular, agony aunt Deidre Sanders. Not wasting anytime, Phillip went to the first caller for the open phone-in, a lady named Rachel but, after picking up the phone and not saying anything, Rachel was then heard coughing badly.

That prompted Phillip, who had just told Rachel 'not to worry' to respond: "Oh god. Maybe we should be doing a phone the doctor," to which Rachel sarcastically fired back: "Well, if I could get through to one, I would."
After the bumpy start to her call, Rachel got choked up as she explained that her dad had been moved into a home after struggling with 'full blown' dementia, adding that her mum won't accept any help.
Rachel told Phillip, Rochelle and Deidre: "She's on her own and expects me to do everything. This, that and the other. I'm 59 myself and I try to do everything I can, but I think she wants company. She won't have anything to do with social services or the people who deliver the frozen foods or nothing. I just don't know what to do."
Deidre told her: "You re an adult and you have to look after yourself as well. It won't do anyone any favours if you go under.," with Phillip adding: "Good luck Rachel."
