This Morning fans were left confused - as a guest used asparagus to predict the Lionesses' Euro final result.
The England Women's team will take on Germany in the final of the Women's Euros this Sunday at Wembley Stadium, as excitement about the upcoming game reaches fever pitch across the nation.
Led by manager Sarina Wiegman, the Women's team - which includes the likes of Beth Mead, Alessia Russo and Fran Kirby - will take on the German side after they knocked out France earlier this week.
It's been the talk of the town and ITV's mid-morning show This Morning shared in the excitement as a guest joined them live at the start of today's show to predict who would be taking home the trophy this Sunday.
As the show opened, an excited Mollie King and Craig Doyle stood with the guest as they awaited the results.
"Let's do it then," an excited Mollie said as she started a drum roll and the guest threw the asparagus on the tray.
Giving her verdict, she said: "The first thing I see is a huge big L there, and that is supplanting an A there, which tells me that the Lionesses will triumph. You can see the A there, the L above the A."
Craig then chimed in to say: "Now you say it, it's so obvious," as Mollie added: "I don't know why we didn't see it sooner."
The guest then continued to predict the score, admitting she was "putting her neck on the block".
"It's telling me it's going to be very close, it'll be 3-2 to the Lionesses," she concluded as cheers erupted in the studio.
However, fans were puzzled by her method of prediction and took to Twitter to vent their confusion.
"What the actual f*** is this? Fortune telling asparagus! #ThisMorning," one wrote, as a second added: "Asparagus lady got a lot of predictions wrong though, didn't she? But let's not mention those #thismorning."
A third shared: "There’s an “asparamancer” on #ThisMorning just now, predicting the Euro result by chucking asparagus onto a tray and interpreting the way it lands, and I’m not even drunk yet!"
"Reasons to love daytime TV: #ThisMorning predicting the Euros result with Asparagus," a fourth penned.
