This Golden Retriever puppy is stuck indoors and his reaction is melting hearts; video goes viral

A Golden Retriever dog named Bruce has stolen the world wide web's heart by waiting for his big appearance in front of the outside world, not by doing anything as simple as catching a ball or performing tricks, but by doing something very difficult: waiting patiently.

In a now-viral video posted by his owner on Instagram, Bruce is currently undergoing his shots, so no going for a walk, visiting a park, or greeting people on the sidewalk is possible for now, and it seems he's not pleased about that from the look on his face.

It shows the small pup standing upright at a window, front paws resting on the sill, with eyes looking outside in deep concentration. Cars pass, people walk by, and life goes on while Bruce is indoors, watching it all from behind the glass. The caption speaks perfectly for his mood, drawing an analogy of full vaccination clearance to a test of pure patience.

What really takes the moment to another level is the background music. The clip is set to the iconic song from The Little Mermaid, "Part of Your World," and makes Bruce's longing stare almost look dramatic. As the lyrics play about wanting to be part of the world outside, the puppy looks curious with his big eyes, as if he's singing along in spirit.

But for those who’ve been there and been through the experience of raising a puppy, the situation is all too common. Until a puppy is vaccinated, going into public spaces is often discouraged, which can be very frustrating for both dog and the owner.

For instance, for now, Bruce’s adventures will be restricted to window-gazing and daydreaming. However, judging by this video, once he is cleared for the great outdoors, the world would better be warned because this Golden Retriever has a lot of stuff to make up for.
