The Nightmare Realm
The Nightmare Realm returns to Dublin this weekend, taking place at the Fruit & Veg Market in Dublin 7. This year's event is sure to be an ultra spooky one with areas like The Haunted Orphanage, Sewers, Cannibal's Playground, Attack of the Clowns and Death Row Penitentiary.
Additionally, visitors will get to enjoy a live DJ set, food options, pumpkins games, vampires, photo opportunities, dancers, acrobats, giveaways and a Halloween Town. Tickets are available here.
Comedy gigs galore
This weekend sees a wonderful line-up of comedy gigs happening across the city. On Saturday, October 8, you will be able to catch Token Straight at Sin E, Craic Den Comedy at The Workman's Club and Saturdays at The International.
Meanwhile on Sunday, there's The Comedy Crunch at The Stag's Head, Slatts Laughs Comedy Club at Slattery's D4, Ha'Penny Comedy at the Ha'penny Bridge Inn and Dublin Comedy Improv at The International Bar.
Pizza Party at Ohana Tiki Bar
Ohana is Dublin's only Tiki Bar and every Saturday, the venue hosts a pizza party with board games, deals on selected cocktails and a live DJ. The fun kicks off from 4pm and tickets cost €10 per person.
Dublin Festival of History
Dublin Festival of History continues this weekend with a range of engaging and interesting events for both adults and children. Events taking place this weekend include a Hidden Histories Self-Guided Treasure Hunt for Children at Richmond Barracks and a Highlight Tour of The National Museum of Ireland (Archaeology).

Oktoberfest at The Square Ball
Oktoberfest continues this weekend at The Square Ball. Hosted by Fowl Play BBQ, you can expect German beers and wines, cheese and bratwurst. There will also be Oktoberfest quizzes, Bavarian bingo, blind beer tasting and wing challenges.

We Are Still Young Club Night
Throwback Events returns to The Workman's Club in Dublin for We Are Still Young. Those who revelled in emo and punk culture in the 2000s will want to nab a ticket to this and dance the night away to the likes of Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Avril Lavigne and Sum 41.
