There is quite a unique array if things to do in Dublin this weekend, providing us with a great opportunity to try something new.

From festivals dedicated to a beloved band to a hotly anticipated to convention to other quirky events, there is something for everyone this weekend in Dublin.

While there are some fun free things happening in the city this weekend, some events require tickets to be purchased. Here are the best things to do in Dublin this weekend.

Dublin Tattoo Convention

The Dublin International Tattoo Convention returns this weekend with amazing artists and a variety of other attractions. Taking place at the RDS from Friday, November 4 until Sunday, November 6, the huge event brings together tattoo artists and enthusiasts from around Ireland and from abroad for live tattooing and other tattoo and art-related activations.

The festival of body art will be a celebration of International and Irish tattooing with much more on offer for ticket holders such as live entertainment, shows, unique acts, food and market stalls. Dublin Beatles Festival

Dublin Beatles Festival is returning to the city for a one day Beatlemania party at The Workman's Club which will feature an array of events for fans of the legendary band. Taking place this Saturday, November 5, the day will feature a play, live music and a table quiz at which true Beatles fans can show off their knowledge.

The Beatles themed fun kicks off at 2pm with Lennon & Shotton, a short play play about John Lennon and his best friend Pete Shotton. Following that at 3pm is The Beatles Table Quiz, which will be hosted by Denny and Steve from Quiz-tastic.

90s Rainbow Umbrella Market

The fourth Rainbow Umbrella Market takes place at All My Friends Pub in The Liberties this Saturday between 12pm and 5pm. Vendors will be selling jewellery, art, apparel, prints, cards, decor, and more. Plus, there will be a special 90s twist with tunes from the decade.

Live comedy shows

There are a number of comedy nights taking place in Dublin this weekend. Some of the comedy events taking place this weekend include Dublin Comedy Improv on Sunday at the International Bar and Craic Den Comedy Club on Saturday at the Workman's Club.

Drink and Draw the Ha'Penny Bridge

Painting, music and drinking is on the agenda at The Grand Social this Saturday. No experience is necessary to take part with a team guiding you through your painting.

The event is two hours long and there will be a bar in operation. Tickets are available to purchase via Eventbrite.

Dublin Twerk Fest

Yes, there is a twerking festival happening in Dublin this weekend. Taking place at The Liffey Trust Studios on Sheriff Street on Saturday, beginners are welcome to all classes.

The event kicks off at 1pm and classes taking place on the day include Sexy Floor Twerk, Afrobeats vs Dancehall Twerk Masterclass, Trap n Twerk and Amapiano Twerk. Tickets can be purchased here, while individual classes can also be booked.
